- The first digital drawing of Jordan was made on May 23, 2019.
- Initially, Jordan's story was supposed to take place in the US Civil War, however it would not have fit into the timeline of Jojo parts 1-6. This is why Gar chose to start the story in the chunk between Parts 2 and 3: '...a lot of things happened between those two times, but the most interesting to write about was the Vietnam War.'
- The reason Jordan’s birthday is in May is because it’s the same month where Gar first drew his concept art in the morning of 2019.
- According to an ancient Crimson Jungle quiz, Jordan's original name was Jordan Joestar.
- Jordan's iconic hair bangs used to be much more subdued - in earlier chapters and illustrations his hair was way shorter and reminiscent of Jonathan Joestar's hairstyle. Gar kept it because it looked cool.
- Jordan's stand's design was inspired by the Witch King of Angmar from Lord of the Rings.
